The 2005 Fall season began Saturday with beautiful weather and 95% barge-free, flat water on the Allegheny in Pittsburgh, PA. Pioneer has shown itself to be a force this season by placing high in all events entered.

Standouts include the Women's HS Lightweight Four (gold medal), Women's HS Four (silver), and the Women's HS Varsity Eight (bronze). The Men's HS JV Eight has earned either a gold or bronze, depending on the results of an officiating correction.

In other events, Women's Varsity B Four finished 18th of 26, Women's Varsity B Eight finished 7th of 14, and the Women's JV Eight finished 5th of 11. Men's Fours finished 5th and 10th of 27, Men's Varsity Eight 6th of 12, and the Men's Lightweight Four finished 4th, beating out several University crews as the top High School boat in an event that combined these categories.
